During this workshop you will learn how to incorporate found objects and natural elements in clay, using three main decorative techniques I use in my practice: imprinting, carving and modelling.
No previous pottery experience required, just a curious mind!
Trinkets, tea and books for inspiration will be provided.
Expect a relaxed time playing with clay and nature. No expectations, just let the creativity flow!
Location: at Summerhall, Edinburgh. Meet at the main entrance 5 minutes before the start of the workshop.
Workshop is 2.30 hours long and your final pieces will be fired and given to you once they are ready. Select “shipping” if you wish to have your pots delivered instead of collecting from the studio.
(Please note this is not a wheelthrowing or handbuilding class, but a decorative technique workshop).
